DEBBIE BRADFORD - DIRECTOR

It’s often the things you didn’t plan that become the stories you tell.

Debbie Bradford was fortunate to be introduced to travel through international competitive sport from the young age of 16. In addition to the years of living in London and travelling Europe, her continued desire to travel soon led her to become a travel agent in the late 80’s and continues, some 30 years on.

Debbie has won many National awards within the travel industry over the years and her drive for success comes from being passionate about meeting people and creating new relationships, both personally and professionally. Her motivation is enjoying the results that come from the memorable experiences and stories shared by her clients.

Debbie believes travel is a business of gaining knowledge on culture, history and current trends, so she is regularly assessing cruise ships, studying travel trends and visiting new destinations to keep up-to-date. Her personal travel knowledge is intensely valuable for itinerary suggestions.

Undoubtedly Debbie’s spare time is limited but she doesn’t sit still. You will find her in the garden, doing something physical (biking, walking, at the gym), visiting friends, following sport, trying a new recipe or occasionally… somewhere quiet with a book and a good drop of something!

We are cruise specialists and are members of CLIA - the Cruise Lines International Association which enables us to offer our clients a premium cruise advisory and booking service. Debbie is a certified CLIA Cruise Master, the highest level of certification of the CLIA Certification Program.

The Travel Agents’ Association of New Zealand (TAANZ) is a self – regulating trade organisation representing the travel agent, travel broker and tour operator distribution system in New Zealand. TAANZ and its members promote the use of an Accredited Travel Advisor; quality standards, ethical business practices, safe travel, unbiased options and professionalism.

HUGH BRADFORD - CRUISE AND TRAVEL SPECIALIST

Sometimes one little bar is all it takes to fall in love with a place

Hugh was born with travel in his blood, having had his Mum, (Debbie), Dad (Richard) and Grandfather (Bert), all in the travel industry. In fact, Bert was instrumental in founding the Travel Broker business in New Zealand.

Hugh has the ability to find amazing airfares, the perfect cruise, the ultimate hotel or even better… the best restaurant and/or bar in the area you are travelling. What more can we say!

Hugh is very creative, not only with his fabulous tailor-made itineraries that our clients have the joy to experience, but through implementing his Business and Marketing Degree, his flair in producing outstanding marketing and branding for Bradford Travel Ltd is another huge asset to the team.

When Hugh isn’t researching his next trip overseas, you will find him at the beach, working out at the gym, cooking something divine in the kitchen, or working on his ultimate creative skill… making unique pieces of clothing for his own clothing label.
